NakodaX

AI Protection

AI cannot leak what it cannot open.

Employees, vendors and developers can paste your files into an AI tool in seconds. NakodaX locks each one in an encrypted container, so there is nothing readable to paste.

AES-256 encryption. NakodaX never sees your readable files.

A stream of data breaks into scattered noise against a sealed, protected file, so nothing readable reaches an AI tool.

NakodaX locks your documents, customer data and source code in an AES-256 encrypted container tied to a key. An AI model cannot open it, so a paste or an upload gets nothing readable.

One paste can leak what took years to build.

A leak to an AI tool needs no hacker, only someone with a readable copy and a minute. It can start inside your business or outside it.

Inside the business

Employees

Today

Pastes a customer list or a board pack into an AI assistant.

With NakodaX

Receives locked files. A copy in a downloads folder holds no readable text, and revoking access stops it opening.

Inside, or at a customer

Developers

Today

Puts readable source code into an AI tool.

With NakodaX

Selected proprietary components stay out of the readable release. The software still runs.

Outside the business

Vendors and partners

Today

Uploads your pricing sheet or customer export, during the contract or after it ends.

With NakodaX

Receives only what the relationship needs, locked, and access ends with the contract.

A locked container. Tied to a key.

  1. 01

    Lock

Each file is encrypted with AES-256, in a container tied to a key.

  2. 02

    Share

Send it the usual way. The container is useless on its own.

  3. 03

    AI sees noise

Without the key, an AI model gets only encrypted data.

  4. 04

    You decide

Revoke or expire access when the relationship changes.

The same file, pasted twice.

This is what an AI tool receives when someone drops a file into the chat box. One copy is readable. The other was protected before it was shared.

A readable copy

The tool can summarize it, pull out the numbers and keep them.

A protected copy

The tool gets noise. There is nothing to summarize, extract or learn from.

An illustration with made up text. A person who is allowed to open the protected file still sees it normally.

What goes in the container.

Document Protection

Contracts, decks, PDFs, spreadsheets, photos and video. Revoke or expire access after sharing.

Data Protection

A controlled view for each recipient, with sensitive fields hidden, masked or encrypted.

What it does not do.

NakodaX does not block AI tools, so your team can keep using them. It controls how much readable content there is to hand them.

A screenshot, or something an authorized person already copied by hand, can still go into an AI tool, and NakodaX cannot recover it. What it removes is the easy path: copying a file, exporting a table or pasting a function.

Answers

AI Protection questions

What is AI data leakage?
AI data leakage is when documents, customer data or source code are pasted or uploaded into an AI tool by someone who holds a readable copy. It can start with an employee, a developer or an outside vendor. Once it happens, you lose control of where the content goes next.
How do I stop employees pasting confidential files into ChatGPT?
Protect the file before it is shared. NakodaX locks documents, customer data and source code in an encrypted container, so the copy a person holds is not readable text. Pasting or uploading it gives an AI tool nothing to read.
Can an AI model open a NakodaX container?
No. Without the key, an AI model sees only encrypted data. Guessing an AES-256 key is not feasible with today's technology, and the protected file stays encrypted until permission is checked.
What encryption does NakodaX use?
AES-256. Documents are encrypted on your own device before upload, and NakodaX never sees the readable file.
Do I need to ban AI tools?
No. NakodaX does not block AI tools. It protects what is shared, so your team can keep using AI without readable business files in reach.
How do I stop customer data going into AI tools?
Data Protection delivers each recipient a controlled view with only the rows and columns that relationship needs. Sensitive columns are hidden, masked or encrypted, so there is no complete readable table to upload.
Can AI rebuild my source code from what a vendor receives?
Selected proprietary components are not delivered as readable source, so there is nothing to place into an AI tool. The software still runs in the environment it needs to run in.
What about screenshots?
A screenshot can still go into an AI tool. NakodaX removes the easy path of copying a file, exporting a table or pasting a function. It cannot stop someone who recreates the work by hand.
Does NakodaX use AI on my files?
Not on your documents or data. Source Protection has an optional AI feature that is off by default and sees only the outline of a function, never your code. The details are on the security page.
