NakodaX

Industries/Legal and HR

Sensitive records reach only the people who need them.

Case files, contracts, board papers and employee data. Each one reaches the people you name, and access ends when the matter or the agreement does.

Works withDocumentsData

Three colleagues in discussion over a tablet showing a document marked with a padlock.

In short

Case files, contracts, board papers and employee data go to outside counsel, directors and vendors as ordinary copies, and those copies outlive the matter or the agreement. With NakodaX, documents open only for the people you name, after your NDA if you want one, and a vendor gets data with an end date that matches the contract.

Legal and HR questions

What happens to data a vendor holds when the agreement ends?
Each vendor has its own end date. Set it to match the contract, and after it their next request for a key is refused.
Can a payroll vendor get salaries without the bank details?
Yes. Choose the columns each vendor receives. A column a recipient may not have is not in their file, and each vendor has its own end date.
Can outside counsel agree to an NDA before a file opens?
Yes. They confirm their email, read your terms and agree by name. Only then does the file open, and you both get a signed record.
Can a reader take a screenshot?
Yes. Nothing can stop someone photographing their own screen. Documents can carry a watermark with the reader's name and the time they viewed it, so a screenshot shows whose copy it was, and analytics show who opened it and when.
